Jason Jordan In-Ring Return Unlikely

Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former-RAW Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan will not likely return to the company. Jordan underwent neck surgery in February of 2018. Jordan is reportedly doing “pretty good” but suffering from an inability to make a fist in one hand, and cannot fully control said hand.

Jordan has been working as a backstage producer for WWE, while he waits to recover.

Sheamus Likely To Return To Active Competition

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that former-WWE Champion Sheamus is currently cleared to compete, and waiting for creative to give him something to do on television. Sheamus has been out of action since suffering a concussion sometime after WrestleMania 35.

Between the concussion and spinal stenosis, Sheamus has been dealing with a myriad of injuries. There is no word on the timetable for his return.

AEW On TNT Has An Official Name

AEW issued the following:

AEW and TNT reveal name and first poster of new show: All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite

Wednesday nights are going to get explosive as All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and TNT reveal the name and first official poster of their upcoming weekly show: All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite. As previously announced, starting Wednesday, October 2, AEW will begin airing live two-hour weekly matches on TNT at 8 p.m. ET. The highly-anticipated, action-packed matches will take place in different cities across the nation each week on Wednesdays, starting in Washington, D.C., at the famed Capital One Arena. Future matches announced so far will be held in Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh PA, Charleston, WV, Charlotte NC, Nashville, TN, Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL.

WWE NXT’s USA Debut Seen By Over 1 Million Viewers

ShowbuzzDaily is reporting that WWE NXT’s debut on the USA Network drew 1.179 million viewers. This means that NXT drew roughly half the audience of RAW or SmackDown LIVE, which currently average over 2 million viewers.

NXT was #4 in the 18-49 demographic, and 19th overall. No information is available for the second hour viewership on the WWE Network.

WWE Fan Arrested For Allegedly Filming Police Using Urinal

WVLT in Knoxville, TN is reporting that WWE Fan was arrested for making a snapchat video of a police officer and others urinating at this past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW at the Thompson-Boling Arena. Tyler Bolinger was charged with disseminating unlawful photos & public intoxication.

The officer in the video was alerted to the situation after a man and his son brought attention to Bolinger, who was recording people urinating. Bolinger originally said there was “nothing” on his phone, but later admitted taking video of the officer and at least one other man urinating. Bolinger also admitted to imbibing several alcoholic drinks.

Bolinger is set for court on Sept. 17th.
